Shane Nickerson had a photograph which he posted up on his blog as being a mystery hotel which he was trying to discover the identity of. Wil Wheaton saw the photo and suggested a meme for readers to write a fictional story based on the photo. Readers were to compose a story on their blog of 300 words or less and then track it back to Shane’s blog.
I wrote an entry for the meme and decided that this would become the regular format for my blog. I will find a different photograph each week and write a short story for it, 1000 words or less because, afterall, every picture’s worth a thousand words.
